Jammu Airport is a domestic airport Terminal 1 which facilitates a plethora of facilities for travelers for their convenience. The airport is expanded over an area of 14,500 square meters. There are five gates and fourteen check-in desks in this airport. This terminal includes a store selling traditional packaged food items, a restaurant, a shoe shop, and an information desk for pilgrims who are going to travel to Vaishno Devi Temple.

The authority of this airport is under the Indian Airforce which in turn makes it one of the most globally protected airports which are usually on high alert.
